Doug Miller

"Doug is an accomplished soccer coach who comes to Northern Steel having coached soccer for 10 years. He brings a variety of skills and passions; He's energetic and upon meeting him you'll find yourself gravitating towards his hospitable and cheerful character. Doug is a USSF C licensed coach and also holds his SOC and GK level II diplomas through the United Soccer Coaches (USC) organization. Doug has held many coaching positions; head coach for middle school and high school soccer programs, head coach for cup programs and most recently, was a coaching director. Even more recent, Doug earned his Strength and Conditioning certification (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and will provide strength and conditioning services and programs to our boys teams. Doug is also coaching at Geneva College as the Women's Assistant/GK coach.
Outside of soccer, Doug and his wife Christy reside in New Brighton, PA and have two kids; Logan (6) and Abigail (2). Doug also runs his own soccer specific strength and conditioning training program that focuses on strength, speed and agility enhancement and secondly, focuses on developing high moral character for when you're on and off the field."
